So the strategic dilemma becomes clear: • Proceed with Rafale—and remain tied to French oversight • Or explore alternatives like Russia’s Sukhoi Su-57, which is reportedly offering deeper technology access, including source code control A decision here won’t just shape procurement—it could define the future of India’s defense autonomy.
