Resident Evil should have ended with RE5. It's ok for franchises to end, that was the perfect endcap. Wesker is defeated. Chris and Jill are reunited. Chris accepts the life of fighting bio-terrorism with optimism for a better future. No game released since has topped it.

GTA V came out just before the PS4/XB1 launch, but to believe they've sat out nearly two full console gens (13 years) to double-dip is putting too much stock in corporate greed.

@DirkBelig @Koahlah @pcgamer It's very likely it is the reason for the delay. Rockstar are the only "third party" developer to do this. All the others are able to release a superior PC version at the same time as console releases.

@Koahlah @halcyonorder @pcgamer It's not greed, it's common sense. There are a ton more consoles with fixed hardware configs than PCs, which are a random mess of HW options to support. Impatient people will buy it on console even if they have PCs then rebuy it, but that's not a reason to delay.
