Hunmm , the phrase is inspiring, but it's not scientifically true. Bees fly perfectly within the laws of physics, what happened is that, decades ago, someone tried to apply airplane equations to an insect, and of course, it didn't work. Insects fly on a different principle, vortices, controlled turbulence, rapid beats, not with rigid wings like those of an airplane. In other words
It's not that the bee defies physics, it's that physics is richer than the flawed planning done about it.And here's the most beautiful point, the
true metaphor, the inspired part isn't God makes approaches or the bee ignores the rules.
The inspiring part is
Even when someone miscalculates about you, you remain capable.
Even when the world measures you with the wrong formula, you keep flying. The bee doesn't go despite physics.
She flies because she's made to, even if someone looking from the outside doesn't understand. God doesn't make things imperfect, perfection bears "His signature."
He makes things with purpose, even when we don't understand engineering.
It's not a miracle against the laws, it's a miracle through the laws.
English

At the NASA space science center, there's a poster with bees that reads:
"The aerodynamic body of a bee is not suited for flight, but it's good that the bee doesn't know this."
The law of physics, the aerodynamic principle, states that the wingspan is too small to keep its massive body aloft in flight, but the bee doesn't know—she knows nothing about physics or its logic—and yet she flies anyway.
This is what we all can do: fly and triumph at any moment, in the face of any difficulties and under any circumstances. Bees—regardless of the size of your wings, fly and enjoy life.

ICE murdered a man yesterday. They were scared after assaulting him and discovering he had a handgun, for which he had a permit. In a state where conceal carry is legal. He literally died for the second amendment and it was the US govt that executed him. apple.news/ANEeS0O9dQkKHf…

Nicolás Maduro was not a good guy. His brand of socialism and authoritarian rule devastated Venezuela and crushed democratic institutions. There’s no serious argument that the country is better off under his leadership.
Venezuela deserves democracy.
But believing that does not mean the US gets to break international law, ignore Congress, and unilaterally overthrow the government of a sovereign nation to “police the world.”
So a simple question for MAGA:
Are you still against regime change and endless U.S. intervention abroad, or was that principle only convenient before Trump did it?
You don’t get to oppose imperial overreach in theory and cheer it in practice when your guy is the one pulling the trigger.

@Beganovic2025 It’d be less of a drag if the surrounding street grid wasn’t chopped up and lights were synchronized. Somehow, formerly a million city residents navigated these 62sq miles efficiently. Should be much easier than it is to move our existing traffic volumes through the city.

If the city and county homicides were combined, the rate per 100,000 would be about 12.8-13.5. That would be in about the middle of the pack of the largest 50 cities. Dallas, Phoenix, Houston are in the 11-15 per 100k range. NYC is around 5 per 100k.

Baby It’s Cold Outside! It’s going to get colder as we move forward. That means we must bundle-up and check on our elderly neighbors. Please avoid unsafe methods of heating your home and prepare your turkey safely. Avoid home fires. Get those smoke alarms. #HappyThanksgiving!
