The KSCA should build a stadium on its own land outside the city of Bengaluru. Have your own security, cleaning and other staff. Stay away from GBA, city police and other departments. No need to bow before the politicians and bureaucrats. Or subject yourself to yearly harassment/humiliation.

BCCI announce Nagpur, Chennai, Guwahati, Ranchi and Ahmedabad the five venues for the January-March 2027 BGT. The wait continues for Australia to return to Eden Gardens - no Test there since the 2001 VVS/Dravid miracle. And no Mumbai Test for them since 2004. Oh well.

Since the appointment of Devajit Saikia as BCCI secretary, his home state venue Guwahati has suddenly become a priority:
- Women’s World Cup opener and semifinal
- Maiden Test and now a BGT Test ahead of Mumbai and Kolkata
- IPL matches increased from 2 to 3, ta too all RCB, CSK, and MI games this year.
This is blatant favouritism. At this rate, Guwahati is even being pushed ahead of PM stadium in Ahmedabad.
