@fozzywrites I have the exact opposite views about this scene. While Ranveer is solid in the scene, the background song did not work for me, the scene didn’t last long enough to make a deep impact. But I hope I’m in the minority here.

This scene meant everything to me. It broke me both times I watched it. I could not hold back the tears. Maybe it struck something personal, I do not know but the final moment between Jaskirat and his mother felt almost transcendent. It reminded me of how I felt watching the climax of The Pursuit of Happyness. The way Will Smith moved something within me back then, Ranveer does the same here. And that is rare.

@fozzywrites There were many moments in the movie that created a lump in the throat. But this scene, the epic finale, when the curtains finally fall on the epic journey that @AdityaDharFilms took all of us.. I choked! And felt something that i can’t put to words.. THE ROAD NOT TAKEN ❤️‍🩹

@fozzywrites personally the feeling i had after watching this scene was something very deep but since there was few more minutes of movie left so had to lock in again and it did dilute the impact a bit. little thing but I feel such things matter when it comes to word of mouth.

Watched it again. The second viewing experience was even better. Yes, it is not flawless but it still manages to give you one of the greatest cinematic experiences you can have. The bar is set so high that we may not witness a duology like this again for ages. Even after the film ended, not a single person in my theatre walked out during the mid credits montage. That tells you everything about how deeply people are connected to this film and to Jaskirat Singh Rangi. Even after four hours, you still want more. You just want to stay in that world a little longer. That is what makes it special. Take a bow, Aditya Dhar for giving us this masterpiece of a duology.

@fozzywrites The filmmaking and performances are goated, no doubt. But you never talked about the real incidents that took place in the film why is that?

@DmitriAngevil But weren’t you expecting this? Like part 1 made it pretty clear where the sequel was heading. I’m so confused lol

@fozzywrites The demonetisation whitewash was a major turn off for me. Not gonna lie. The movie was phenomenal though...

@DmitriAngevil I do not agree. Both parts cannot be compared because they are made with different objectives. When you look at them together that is when you realise this duology is truly GOATed.
