@Gnaritas_98@walterkirn He’s Twitter poisoned. You start as a serious novelist and then you’re in Twitter thinking you’ll just participate in the discourse, but before long you’re dropping inane takes because that’s what the algorithm rewards. It reduces people to the mentality of 12 year old girls.
If they tell us superior alien beings have possessed the LLMs and we must listen, everything I own that uses a battery or plugs into the wall goes in the trash.
@walterkirn I just think you are not honoring your talent. All the tweeting and podcasting and peacocking online with vague, coy “predictions” is such a waste. I think you feel you have to podcast and tweet a lot to stay relevant/noticed but I think you could give so much more to posterity
This week in haters:
I'm hiding advanced Parkinson's.
I went insane when America This Week ended.
I'm wasted drunk.
I'm paid by Israel.
I'm a CIA agent licensed to leak secret scripts of future events.
Fun platform.
@walterkirn WHY ARE YOU CONSTANTLY ON TWITTER AND URGING OTHERS TO BE RADICAL???
You are basing your whole current career on being prominent in the very forum that is making people dumb and intellectually lazy
It is not dignified to be on Twitter this much if you claim you are serious
Forget "politics." Cultivating literacy --independent literacy, the ability to read and think and write and do it all in your own head and with your own two hands, so to speak -- is the great radical act now.
Be a radical.
Over-specificity in edicts is one way you know they're made up. That they are indeed edicts, not findings. "Fifteen days to slow the spread." Stand "6 feet" apart.
@gmiller Imagine telling people Geoffrey Miller was your Ph.D. supervisor and getting in reply “the Primal Poly guy? The ‘fatties need not apply’ prof?
You can be defamed by AI and these companies merely shrug that they try to be accurate. In the meantime, their false accounts metastasize across the Internet...jonathanturley.org/2023/04/06/def…
@robrousseau Legal fees are "piling up" on a misdemeanor battery case? That's like saying medical bills are "piling up" when someone scraped their elbow.
