In breach of its of Statutes, FIFA declines to remove Israeli settlement clubs from it's structures saying that it is a very difficult matter of public international law to decide whom does a territory of the West Bank belong to: Palestine or Israel.

@FIFAcom, this is a football issue. Your own rules on territorial integrity are clear and so is international law: UN Resolution 2334 (2016), ICJ Opinion (2004). Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank of Palestine are illegal and so are the clubs operating in them.

FIFA has sanctioned the Israeli FA with a fine and an “action plan” after a complaint by the Palestine FA. But when it comes to Israeli clubs in illegal settlements, it avoids action calling the West Bank “disputed.” Disputed? The West Bank IS Palestine inside.fifa.com/legal/judicial…

@TeymourianP I haven’t commented on it because it’s been reported that he allegedly murdered a police officer in January. That said, I don’t support executions, but they are still part of the law in countries like the U.S. as well.

@crehage That’s not the point here is it? This is footage filmed by the players themselves. There’s also plenty of footage captured by other drivers. What should actually concern you is the safety of the women’s team. They were being followed by aggressive men who were hitting their bus.

In the last few days, I’ve seen videos of men following the Iranian women’s team, harassing them and filming them without consent. Now we’re seeing a car put their lives in this level of danger. None of this is being reported by mainstream media, by the way.

More footage of harassment towards the Iran women’s team, people trying to reach their bus and even push past the police escort. They needed protection in Australia because they weren’t safe. Two police cars at first… then reinforcements had to step in.

When Suleiman Obeid was killed last August while trying to seek aid for his family, he left behind 5 children: Naseem (17), Inas (16), Hamada (11), Dina (5) and Asia (2). For his widow Doaa, it has been hard to raise them. Their home was bombed at the beginning of the genocide.

@ashkan This was also a tragic incident, right? 20 Iranian volleyball players killed in U.S.-Israeli attacks because they decided to bomb a sports hall. People deserve freedom and dignity but not at the cost of their lives. Bombing civilians is never liberation. You’re sick.
