@patrick_exe We did that for a bit but was annoying with a two step process. So now we've switched to reaper and that works really well 👍

Anyone know why, when exporting as .wav with PCM from Davinci, I'm unable to use the file in Godot? I need to re-export from something like Audacity as PCM again and then it works. I can see that Davinci uses something called Linear PCM? Any workaround?

@MjTheHunter @TvanHelsdingen You can also use export variables as they afaik use UIDs under the hood. That way you have the convenience of the inspector if you need it and the UID.

@TvanHelsdingen Oh that's interesting. So the actual path in code references the UID instead of a hard oded path? Does that sow things down as the scripts need to look through folder instead of just being told where to look?

If you import an asset pack of 100 models that all share the same material and you'd like to adjust that material slightly you'd have to do 800 mouse clicks...

My biggest annoyance with @godotengine right now is that you can't select 'use external material' for multiple models at a time, it's insane to me that this isn't possible. I know one could write a custom import script, but a lot of people will face this.
