There once was an old fox (kitsune) from Shōkokuji in Kyoto. In the autumn, he would disguise himself as famous tea master Sen Sōtan & visit local tea masters to drink tea & eat cakes. Everyone loved his company even though all knew he was really a fox, & called him Sōtan Kitsune
