Last week our head chef, Simon went out with Petra Flour UK to see our friends at Stretch Pizza in #hull. Simon has been a Petra Selected Partner for a number of years now and so was more than happy to share his extensive knowledge of @MolinoQuaglia and their flours

We’re constantly refining our dough recipe at IPP and this weekend is no different. As well as our usual blend of Petra 0101HP for the initial Biga and 0102HP for the refresh (both type 1 flours), we’ve replaced some of the 0101HP in our Biga with Petra 9, a wholemeal flour.

@heidisaint Plymouth suffers regular sweeping drizzle pretty much all year, but also plenty of sunshine during spring. Third wettest city in Britain I read somewhere, behind Manchester and Newcastle.

@them_apples I know wholesale costs are through the roof and, if they’re like us, then they’ll be having to deal with prices increases every other week so I can empathise. Encountered similar with a local curry house recently too

@them_apples I’ve only tried one local shop recently so I’m unsure if it’s commonplace, but had the exact same experience. To add insult to injury they forgot a portion of chips too

@Brink_Thinker Two great grandmothers (nannas) on my maternal side who lived until their early & late nineties respectively. My daughter (7) has known three (my paternal grandad died last year at 100) and maternal grandparents are in mid-late eighties and still going strong!

Did anyone know a great-grandparent as a child?
