How did XRP rise to over $1000? Please forgive my ignorance, but I'm genuinely curious I hold a significant amount of XRP, enough to make me realize that if the price skyrockets, it will be incredibly valuable. However, I keep seeing people say that XRP's market capitalization and circulating supply dictate that its price can't exceed $100 per coin. Then I hear counterarguments that market capitalization doesn't apply to XRP utility is paramount. Others say that if XRP becomes widely adopted, the price per token "must" be very high (over $1000), but I remember Ripple's CTO saying that XRP's price doesn't need to be ridiculously high to function properly. Could someone explain this in more detail so I can understand it better? Thanks in advance!

Wormhole makes sense at a surface level, but here’s the cleaner way to look at it. $XRP doesn’t actually leave the XRPL. It settles on its native ledger. When you see it on another chain, you’re looking at a representation that’s backed by real $XRP locked on XRPL. Bridges handle access. XRPL handles final settlement. So the focus isn’t the wrapper. It’s where the value ultimately clears and how liquidity routes through the ledger.
