Adobe is pushing Substance this and that, and now Unreal's material system is... Substrate? It's always been a challenge, but now RIP even more to our studio's search results. 🤦‍♀️ (Fun fact, we named the studio "Substance" well before Allegorithmic released the software)

@HayleyAkins I went out for drinks in a cheap Izakaya in Shibuya with a bunch of Swedish people, met a DoP who hired me for a freelance motion design job. Eventually worked full time for that company as their creative director ❤️ Always accept cheap drinks night invites!

@Zachinpublic Lots of good advice about work practices but it sounds like you could also benefit from translating those to your personal life. Scheduling downtime and prioritizing self-care + fun, as well as “quality time” with fam/friends then committing to it like you do a task for work.
