@RobertDobalina7 Payroll tax reductions is not the most bang for the buck and although healthcare is great, that's not the best way to increase consumption power either. UBI is the way. Think fully refundable tax credit, not just tax credit.

The best thing for our economy would be to boost the spending power of the bottom 80% w/ universal basic income. By increasing taxes on the top 10%, the overall supply of money could remain the same but spending would be more widely distributed and more reflective of real demand.

This is 100% completely unsustainable as a society. Nearly 50% of all consumer spending now comes from the top 10% of earners. The bottom 80%? Their share keeps falling. This is why the economy can look strong in the data while millions of people feel like they're falling behind.

Hear me out. We give every homeless $60000 per year. In exchange for the money they can provide services or labor. And then they can take that money and cover their expenses like housing, food etc. Just spitballing
