The roadmap for these was Radio first in approx. October 2026. But with the FIFA World Cup 2026 starting in mid-June, it has been raised that launching Kernel Sports ahead of the World Cup could be an opportunity to capitalise on hype & considerable audience engagement. By launching Kernel Sports right before WC26, it could provide a significant audience-capture platform, thereby increasing Kernel Media's advertising sales options substantially. The caveat is: Kernel Media is still a very small team, and is currently focussed on establishing itself as a premier NFT and Media house. Would such a launch detract from this focus, and thereby hinder its "establishment phase"? Voting Options: ⚖️ 1️⃣ Yes. Launch a lean version of Kernel Sports ahead of WC26 and increase its audience (and therefore revenue) net. 2️⃣ No. Stay focussed on building its current portfolio, and wait for resource expansion before launching new content outlets.
