@chatgpt21 @TukiFromKL I think OpenClaw caught OpenAI off guard. Anthropic were already building towards it. I’m guessing OpenAI assumed we weren’t ready for a fully autonomous system yet and they were wrong.

@chatgpt21 @theoceanblooms I mean I’m vegan and am super into tech. Tech will lead to a better environment for everyone eventually.
I am vegan because of the animals (obviously) and because the science behind it being a healthy alternative is solid. I’m a scientific evidence based person.

people are trying to argue with this and it’s literally the truth. a kilogram of beef requires over 15,000 litres of water to produce. a vegan who uses chatgpt every day is living a more sustainable lifestyle than someone who regularly eats beef while boycotting AI.

I asked Claude to build my daughter an app that plugs into our piano, can read live key strokes, can show her sheet notes and key view and ends with a Guitar Hero style game. All while giving progressively harder songs. Today she’s using It and crushing It.

Maybe they see a new paradigm and want humans to accelerate it. Or maybe they need humans to demo a new robot they’re working on to enterprise. How is digital ai supposed to do that? Maybe they’re hiring robotic engineers?

on January 26.. Sam Altman told his own employees "we are planning to dramatically slow down hiring.. we think we'll be able to do so much more with fewer people"..
that was 54 days ago..
today OpenAI announced they're nearly doubling their workforce.. 4,500 to 8,000.. by end of year..
the same man telling you that AI replaces workers.. just announced hiring 3,500 more humans because AI couldn't replace his..
so either the AI isn't good enough to do the work.. or Anthropic scared them so bad they threw the whole playbook out the window..
both answers are embarrassing.. but only one of them is true.. and Sam knows which one.
