@tinyot13 I think that’s sweet! Richard Gadd has certainly come up with something special here! I love writing for that reason, you want to deeply affect your audience in ways they didn’t know possible. There’s not much out there that’s quite like Half Man.

I’m open to be wrong, but from what we see in the show and this interview, it just looks like they’re downplaying their relationship so they don’t spoil anything. I don’t think we’ll have an explicit scene but I don’t think we need that to see the love between them.

@velaryonsfic Yes! Agree. I do trust in that vision and you contextualized how it fit with these responses well. This damn show, it’s got me sensitive to things like actor interviews. I’ve never cared about things like that before but I suppose with such amazing performances I feel they matter

@tinyot13 You’re welcome! I completely understand the reaction people are having, but we also have to remember that Richard Gadd does call this a love story and we have to trust what we see on screen! Interviews can expand on what we know, but they don’t want to spoil the things we don’t.
