Using India as a “staging area” to promote insurgency in a neighbouring country is an entirely unacceptable violation of our sovereignty and our national laws. This terrorist activity by Ukranian mercenaries led by a known US mercenary “staged” from our soil cannot be played down because of general antipathy for the Myanmar regime. Terrorists become militant humanitarian activists!

Good summary of the situation, including misinformation surrounding it. My own view is that there are many in the West with considerable antipathy for the Burmese military juna & sympathy for the Burmese rebels & that likely explains what happened here. India was a staging area.

Attention @myogioffice Last night, a Hindu man was brutally beaten up by a mob belonging to Muslim community in Mathura Local activist Lalit Kumar, who is a retired armyman, confronted the police on inaction. Police kept saying most officers of Mathura police are on duty for president’s visit and hence there will be delay in FIR and arrests After someone uploaded a video of this confrontation, officers from Raya station of @mathurapolice picked up Lalit Kumar from his home today like he is a criminal Why? How is this acceptable?

I've been an entertainment journalist for over a decade now and with a very heavy heart... I'm writing this today . #Dhurandhar 2 isn’t cinema, it’s a disturbing mix of brutal violence + propaganda. More violent than Animal, yet sold as storytelling. Why is Bollywood normalising this? In a country like ours, films influence reality, this trend is utterly dangerous. Glorifying demonetisation as a success seriously @AdityaDharFilms...??? This is pure fiction. Black money & fake notes still exist. If it’s not based on real events, then why push a political narrative in the name of truth, Aditya Dhar? From Bajirao Mastani & DDLJ to this, what have we become? Between propaganda films & objectification driven content, Bollywood is losing its soul completely.. Do better. #Dhurandhar2 #Bollywood What has this fascist government done to our country's media n film industry!!! Literally ashamed

Karnataka Revenue Minister Krishna Byregowda said 99.35% of applications under Sakala scheme were delivered within the stipulated time this year. Of 1.6 crore applications last year, 98 lakh (98.92%) were processed on time. Citizens can now apply for caste, income and residence certificates from home, track status via SMS & download documents. An automated system to issue caste-income certificates using family database details is being developed. He added that 74 crore land record pages have been digitised, enabling people to access certified copies online, reducing the need to visit government offices @krishnabgowda

My entire family, immediate and in laws, extended family of the Indian variety that adds a couple of hundred to one's family, the assortment of acquaintances who add relative to the family tag (Indian jaan pehchaan), the entire mohalla both paternal and maternal, (that's a couple of 1000+ people) and half the city in the Muslim dominated region are going to watch the movie. The others will try pirated versions just like Dhurandhar 1 becaming a blockbuster in Pakistan despite the ban. So tempted to use the language of the Bollywood - apna mushwaara apne paas rakhnein jahaan dhoop nahi aati hai!
