Vijay and TVK key functionaries eye seats in Chennai. Makes good sense Just a wild guess, based on a rudimentary understanding of the socio-economic and religious composition, the significant Telugu voting bloc, and the large underclass across Chennai and surrounding districts. TVK could emerge as the primary challenger to the DMK+ in a majority of the 36–37 seats in the KTCC (Kanchipuram–Tiruvallur–Chengalpattu–Chennai) belt. It may turn into a triangular contest in about 4–5 seats. AIADMK+ could be competitive in a couple of upscale Chennai seats, and in another 2–3 seats in Kanchipuram where PMK brings some clout.

If operationalised fast, BHAVYA could meaningfully accelerate India’s manufacturing playbook. ₹33,660 crore to build India’s next manufacturing backbone. The Union government has cleared 100 plug-and-play industrial parks under the BHAVYA + NICDP framework, each spanning 100–1,000 acres with up to ₹1 crore per acre in central support. The proposed industrial parks will come with ready factory sheds, built-to-suit units, internal roads, utilities, CETPs, testing labs, ICT-enabled systems, worker housing, and single-window clearances. PM-MITRA moving to execution stage Land acquired, SPVs in place, infra to park gates underway for 7 mega textile parks across TN, Telangana, Gujarat, Karnataka, MP, UP & Maharashtra. To cost ₹13,040 cr, with MoUs worth ₹27,434 cr already signed. PM-MITRA aims to create integrated mega textile parks that bring the entire value chain(spinning to garments) onto a single plug-and-play platform.

Air India has revived every one of the 30 legacy aircraft it inherited post-privatisation, taking its fleet strength to 186. This wasn’t a cosmetic overhaul, but a full nose-to-tail rebuild with engines replaced, 3,000+ components installed, and 4,000+ maintenance tasks completed. Cancellation of the evening shows of 'Dhurandhar The Revenge' can be attributed to the delay in certification from CBFC. The country's biggest release, and they forced cuts to the fine print. Injustice to the makers, viewers, & the country that has embraced this magnum opus. 😡
