it’s so weird how there’s so much social stigma to admitting you have long covid or severe illness as a direct result of covid (same thing, different name). people act like you naming it is the problem! they did something reprehensible to us, and now naming it is the worst thing

Prominent people who clearly are suffering from complex chronic illness (in many cases long COVID) are explaining it as POTS. This is becoming a pattern. I think it’s because 1. POTS has few denialists compared to related conditions like ME and 2. it sounds reversible.

I never want to hear about how "cancel culture" ruins lives. I was warned as an intern at a comedy theatre to "avoid Louis C.K." if he came in. They didn't BAN him, they told WOMEN he's a creep and put it on us to protect ourselves. That's fucked up!

“I had Covid and I’m fine”, is a statement I hear a lot. Unfortunately it doesn’t account for the hidden/delayed damage Covid causes.
Some other dangerous viruses have minimal or no symptoms during the infection phase but cause major damage later.
HIV can have no symptoms upon infection, for years, but lead to AIDS, HPV can have no symptoms, and lead to cancer.
Perceived absence of symptoms or damage in the acute phase is not a safety net or a reason to feel comfortable catching Covid repeatedly.
Avoid Covid.

yeah i still think its fucking INSANE that sony cancelled that Last of Us™ multiplayer game, even if it WASNT 80% done. TLOU2 has amazing feeling combat if you use all of your movesets, and that sort of thing in a factions 1 multiplayer environment would've raked in money
