This is the official statement received from Danielle's legal representatives at HwaWoo regarding the July 2 hearing. Immediately following Danielle's July 2, 2026 hearing, certain media outlets published distorted reports suggesting that Danielle had entered into, or attempted to conceal, a dual contract with an outside company by referencing Chinese capital. The matter in question stems from a legitimate process during the 2025 NewJeans dispute, in which a third party formally delivered a proposal to HYBE regarding the potential acquisition of ADOR shares. The reports maliciously distorted that process by mixing in false information. Neither Danielle nor any of the NewJeans members entered into, or attempted to enter into, dual exclusive contracts with any particular company. The arguments presented by ADOR's counsel that day, including those reflected in the media reports, differ from the objective facts or distort and exaggerate the underlying circumstances. Danielle's legal team suspects that ADOR may have played a role in the process by which the facts of this case were distorted and spread, particularly in portraying matters involving all NewJeans members as though they were solely Danielle's independent actions. ADOR's arguments are not new. Danielle's legal team expects that the court will ultimately make an accurate legal determination based on the evidence.
