To be fair, the idea that Trump would reduce prices was never reasonable.
You reduce prices by increasing imports of goods or increasing domestic labor supply.
So I mean it was never a real part of his platform, unless you were really dumb you knew that from day 1.

People should talk a bit more about this. A lot of poor whites are getting really, really mad at Trump because things are very expensive.
