
Easy 5 this morning. Some speed work and weights on the books for this evening. Really focused on getting back to basics during this training block. Sleep and rest and food and recovery have all been bigger priorities than the actual running itself. This works better for me. I enjoy my life more this way. To each their own, but running (for me) is simply part of life. It’s not my whole life, but it certainly makes my life whole. If that makes sense.
