@CodeRed_dev Nearly 10 years ago, that Brackey's roll-a-ball tutorial got me started with Unity. It was the first step in a long and crazy journey. 🩷

@CodeRed_dev My game started as a brackeys tutorial. Everything is gone by now, but that's how it started
English

@CodeRed_dev Absolutely! Such a great attitude and approach to problem solving. It was so refreshing!
English

@CodeRed_dev Do you know channel like Brakeys, but for UE?
English

@CodeRed_dev Unity wasn't a pain only because Brackeys took this pain on himself.
English

@CodeRed_dev First unity tuto i started watching was for Brackeys
English

English

@CodeRed_dev In case anyone else was interested by this (and had no idea who brackeys was)
Looks like a game dev channel that was super popular in the unity space - but stopped putting out videos in September of 2020. (no updates since)

@CodeRed_dev Didn't he quit 2 years ago?
I started using Unity before his videos so I never learned anything new from watching them.
But I end up watching videos from Indians with a bad mic to solve my problems...
and Unity Answers.

@CodeRed_dev He was great at breaking the accessibility wall of grasping the basics, but he also taught terrible long term practices 😅
Bit of a mixed bag, but generally good work, quick, digestible and with solid results.
English

@CodeRed_dev always in my heart and hopefully on youtube!

@CodeRed_dev @UnityCodeMonkey is a fantastic resource for Unity these days. Highly recommend for getting started or improving your unity skills!
English

@CodeRed_dev I know a lot of people shit on him for teaching bad practices in coding. But who cares you need to start somewhere and sometimes it needs to be simple! Love you brackeys! <3
