Sadly I lost my Uncle Mark & at his funeral yesterday, he left me a gift. He left me the cap Francis earned against Wales which came as a huge surprise as I was convinced this cap had suffered the same fate as the Ireland 1. My Uncle knew how much this meant to me & family.

Folk will know I've been searching for my ancestral Grandfather's Scotland caps he earned whilst playing for Dundee between 1893-1896. 1 was lost but 1 remained but had eluded me & I'd given up hope. Francis Barrett won 2 caps, 1 against Ireland in 1894 & 1 against Wales in 1895.

Some multiplayer options for the time when Skynet decides to cut off power for us mere mortals... These 4 games were part of my childhood and youth. The older I get, the more I am drawn back to these types of games. Even in older-style multiplayer computer games, the social factor - your friends hanging out with you - was always the deciding one. It was what made the games a thousand times better. Scotland Yard, Hero Quest, Risk, and Shogun were hugely popular among my group of friends. Many weekend evenings spent, lots of fond memories of that time. Not sure if board games are on the decline, on the rise, or maybe mean nothing at all to the younger generation, but they will always hold a very special place in my heart. If you had to pick one from your time, which comes to mind first?

Dundee United blow the title race open. Excellent performance against a Celtic side bereft of quality. A Goodwin team always has a big result in them. As an aside, that pitch should be subject to SPFL scrutiny. Embarrassing for our game.
