I suspect that following the attacks targeting Jewish communities in London by Ashab al-Yamin, including the possibility of intelligence indicating further attacks, JTAC decided to raise the terrorism threat level. It is probably the right move.

Our brave officers confronted a man they believed to be a terrorist, who refused to show his hands, who was violent, and who continued to pose a clear threat. Using only their training, courage and tasers, they detained him while he continued to try to attack and stab them. This took true courage.

Today’s Supreme Court decision effectively guts a key pillar of the Voting Rights Act, freeing state legislatures to gerrymander legislative districts to systematically dilute and weaken the voting power of racial minorities - so long as they do it under the guise of “partisanship” rather than explicit “racial bias.” And it serves as just one more example of how a majority of the current Court seems intent on abandoning its vital role in ensuring equal participation in our democracy and protecting the rights of minority groups against majority overreach.
The good news is that such setbacks can be overcome. But that will only happen if citizens across the country who cherish our democratic ideals continue to mobilize and vote in record numbers - not just in the upcoming midterms or in high profile races, but in every election and every level.

The same judge who oversaw three years of cases against Alfonso Talley, and chose to release him on an ankle monitor instead of locking him up, is now presiding over his case again.
Talley, already out on pretrial release for armed robbery, allegedly shot and killed Chicago Police Officer John Bartholomew inside a hospital and critically wounded another officer.
This is what “criminal justice reform” looks like? Letting dangerous repeat offenders walk free until they murder a cop?
These activist judges are completely broken. They’re letting killers roam the streets while good cops die.
Enough is enough. Fire this judge.

After Paul Pelosi was attacked in 2022, Jake Tapper did an entire show on the dangers of stochastic terrorism and of systematically demonizing a person.
Tapper blamed the right and QAnon for inciting the attack. He said calling someone a pedophile or claiming that someone is out to hurt people will result in violence.
Hey Jake, the entire platform of the Democrat party for the past year has been to call Trump a pedophile and to claim that he is out to hurt people. It's also what Jimmy Kimmel does almost every night.
Now after Jimmy Kimmel's "joke" about Melania being a widow, Tapper says that jokes are just jokes and are not calls for violence.
