Air Zimbabwe’s partnership with a Spanish airline to resume direct London to Harare flights is welcome news for us long suffering UK-based Zimboz who’ve spent years enduring stopovers all over the place, Dubai, Qatar, Ethiopia, Kenya, Zambia and some even via Holland just to get home. Dinner in London, breakfast in Zimbabwe… bliss. A direct flight would be brilliant, especially for some of us regular right-at-the-back-of-the-plane mbombela class passengers who know transit queues and airport terminals better than we know our own lounges.
