@jdmstewart1 @KenBurns The cbc and the NFB destroyers their credibility when they produced The Valour and the Horror in 1992. It was simply thr worst historical program ever made. They portrayed the Notsees and Japanese as justified in committing atrocities

@RealEmirHan The scenes in 2001 that use The Blue Danube. I'm still shocked that Kubrick chose to use it at the last minute. Not only that, each scene like the one below are masterpieces of cinematography. Each window was filmed separately then matted together.

@TheCinesthetic Casablanca - masterful acting, script, direction, editing, cinematography, plot, casting, etc, etc. One great line after another. Completely topical to the events at the time. Oh man, couldn't be better.
