ABC Tech Symposium 300 educators from across the District converged last Thursday for this year’s Tech Symposium. This year’s event focused on AI and how it will impact education. Attendees left with a greater understanding of how to harness the power of AI to help STUs succeed.

Teaching for Tomorrow, a 🧵⬇️ The skills that students will need to thrive in the future are different than they used to be. The 4 Cs—communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking skills can prepare students to solve problems that don't even exist yet.

@mrpiercEy Was playing with this today and enjoyed it. Also, I asked AI why certain conditions are not curable and cited its sources, and it did. Mind-blowing!

AI can now read those generic paragraphs and open response questions we assign students and then answer the questions instantly. Yes, this means that they can just copy and paste anything we send to them and have a computer answer it. No, blocking the site won't help.
