If Mushoku Tensei crosses your moral line, that's completely fine. No one is forcing you to watch it.
But calling everyone who enjoys the series and Rudeus a pedophile is lazy and dishonest.
No MT fan I know is defending Rudeus' early actions. The question we've been asking is simple. Who is Rudeus today? Is he still the same person he was at the start of Season 1, or has he changed?
Every discussion goes back to his early behavior, while almost no one wants to talk about his growth throughout the story. Instead, the conversation gets reduced to one point over and over again.
If you don't like the premise of an isekai where reincarnation is central to the story, that's your choice. But at least engage with the series as it's written instead of pretending the redemption arc doesn't exist.

Hating Rudeus is fair if you don't like his character, but calling him a pedophile because he was reincarnated as a child is a weak argument. This is an isekai. He didn't choose to be reborn as a child. That's the world and story the anime is built on. You can criticize his actions, but don't ignore the context of the series just because you're judging it with real-life standards alone.

He had not felt love or romance in his first life to have any advantage
