One thing you need to understand is how this re looping works, if orsted is killed, or fails to defeat man god in the allocated time 200 years he automatically re loops to a certain single starting point. Only orsted knows he re looped no one else and also what he retains after every loop: his memories, technique , skill, experience and knowledge. Only these nothing else. Note that during all these loops he works alone since by nature of his curse, every living thing hates him and wants nothing to do with him(very important) hence lacks allies. Now what happens after he re loops? The entire timeline he lived is erased and a forced rewind is made, not another timeline or possibility. Something else to note, the only people orsted knows as many god's apostles are only those sent to attack him and even some he might not know if they are apostles or not; like some people just come to challenge him to steal the number 2 spot in the great powers. Since he doesn't know who hitogami can use as an apostle for him to make sure he eliminates them he would need to kill everyone, which is impractical and inefficient Another important detail in mushoku is fate; which is a very strong thing and It's what influences events more than anything in the world, in one loop someone x may do this then in the next loop the same person x due to fate they may do a totally different thing or even not be chosen to be an apostle. And remember not all apostles are sent to battle orsted head on. All this mix of uncertainties and slight changes is what has caused orsted to re loop so many times he stopped counting. All of this has led him to stop direct hunts and do experiments, since he can experiment everything infinitely until one works he decided to do that ,he actively experiments, refines strategies, and changes his approach based on what failed in previous loops. He keeps extensive notes on key people, events, preparations, and outcomes specifically so he can do things differently next time. Early loops were chaotic since he was weak, and trying the head on tactic, also some full loops he designated them for only training. Later loops are far more optimized as he has notes but still uncertainties exist. This is why Orsted can know so much about "how things should go" in a general sense, yet still needs to adapt every loop. The base structure is similar enough for him to plan around it, but the details shift every loop. The question you raised assumes every loop is identical and orsted is certain of events. And also very important, killing apostles is not killing man god and he is not a been you can just walk to and kill. Finding him is a huge task already @JoshuaAmusan6 I hope this explains a bit, cause the complexity and rabbit hole runs deeper. The explanation above is long but covers some chunk. Fun fact the orsted we know as strong is just an exhausted broken man just fullfilling what fate has in store for him, at the start he was weak and had to learn sword techniques and combat styles, we are only shown the strong version.
