Kevin Clancy, everyone. You won't find us denying that we were poor even before the first goal, but if our top refs are giving penalties when there's no contact and straight reds that are arguably fouls the other way then it's no wonder none of them got picked for the World Cup.

@VoiceAyr Thomas would’ve turned draws into wins for us. A good manager gets a tune out of him. You have to indulge certain players if they can win games. Shankland was overweight & lazy when he arrived at the club,yet look what he did for the club. Paid his way with goals

@FP_Scotland @The_Thirty_ As an Ayr fan I’m as disappointed as the rest with the team’s performances on the pitch. In saying that the club itself is in better shape than it’s ever been off the pitch. I don’t think jettisoning the manager will achieve anything…it feels too easy nowadays.

Today's performance against Morton was apathetic and sterile and devoid of any managerial expertise whatsoever. An Ayr fan and now anticipating Ayr finishing 2nd bottom...

@The_Thirty_ Never seen a manager freeze and have no idea what to do as much as Brown that night. Wonder if his confidence went that night and its affected things? Constant injuries to strikers probably the actual reason though.

Ayr’s 0-1 defeat to Morton leaves them 8 games without a win. They’re also on one of the worst runs of form in the SPFL, winning just 2 league games since November. With them also still to play all of the top 4, it certainly doesn’t look good for Scott Brown’s Ayr United 😬
