Yes I will vote blue (defensively) as I always do and yes, in liberal terms, Biden was great and the Dems are rightly thrilled. But the #SOTU speech was about defense and restoration more than anything… When will a Dem President once again advance a democratic vision and project?!? He/they don’t even offer something to aspire to: universal healthcare - guaranteed jobs - free public high education…? The now resurgent labor movement of which I am a part must become the visionary social-democratic force in American public life. #solidarity
