When McCarthy then Johnson took control of the House majority, they continued to use Senate Democrats funding budget known as the Omnibus that kept funding the illegals entry and stay. In fact, for fiscal 2025 AND fiscal 2026, the Republican Majority still passed the Senate Democrats Budget, written in part, every year, by Senator Patty Murry.
