The Play-In Tournament is NBA cocaine. Do I love it? Absolutely. Is it good for the game? Who cares just give me more.

Alright my Tweep’s or X-Folks, I wasn’t gong to say anything but after three days of prep chemo at the fantastic Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute in Nashville, my resolve has weakened. Tomorrow I check into Centenial Medical Center and my modified T-Cells will be infused back into my body Monday as part of a procedure called CAR-T. Take care of all of your loved ones, make up with friends you’ve fallen out with and may the Peace of the Lord be with you all. And… GOMEMPHIS🐅🏈!!!

I really, deeply believe that the NBA thrives in one-team markets. Salt Lake. Portland. Oklahoma City. San Antonio. It’s part of why I’m so against Memphis relocation. You get to own that city, guys, and you have several examples of how powerful that can be when it goes right.

The NBA would be smart to lean into teams with fanbases like Utah instead of handcuffing them The Jazz have a better atmosphere in meaningless games than half the eastern conference playoffs

It's strange that so many people have forgotten that true tough guys are calm and speak measuredly.

Moving to Memphis was a pivotal moment in my career. For the first time, I was in a city that lived basketball, that didn’t just share my passion for the game, but exceeded it. That’s the least an NBA player should understand when visiting.
Memphis Flyer@MemphisFlyer

His comments weren’t just about a hotel. They reflected a deeper reality about how Memphis is perceived, positioned, and too often overlooked. memphisflyer.com/lebron-said-it…

If the war truly ends with Iran in possession of the strait of Hormuz--as is currently the case--and if negotiations proceed according to Iran's 10-points, which include full sanctions relief and Iran charging tolls for use of the strait, then the outcome of the war will be clear. And it won't be a US victory.

Ryan Clark is half right on this LeBron saying he doesn’t like playing in Memphis = totally valid LeBron crapping on the hotel when for 99% of people, that’d be the nicest room they’d ever stay in in their lives = entitled and makes you look pompous LeBron saying that because he doesn’t like playing there and the hotel sucks, that the team should move = super entitled and reeks of main character syndrome If LeBron just said that he doesn’t like playing in Memphis and that’s his least favorite city, then it’s a non-story. Everyone’s got a least favorite city to play in, and you’d be crazy to think all 28 cities in the NBA are weighted equally, especially when you’re a guy like LeBron who’s played in the league for over 2 decades and has gone on thousands of road trips It was what he said afterwards that riled people up, and rightfully so, because it reeked of entitlement
Ryan Clark@Realrclark25

The Memphis conversation has become silly, & it’s not LeBron’s fault. Many prominent players have echoed his sentiments. “We” the media have made it about community & culture instead of infrastructure. Basketball players live a bougie, max contract road life, but instead of imploring the Grizzlies to move to Nashville find a solution in Memphis. Also, If we going to ask athletes to speak on behalf of the community at all times a lot of others need to assess their choices as well! @ThePivot clips on YouTube! #ThePivot #MemphisGrizzlies #NBA #LebronJames

@AndrewDHaner Even IF that were the case…(which I highly doubt) this is still completely fucking irresponsible on his part. Much like LBJs recent comments and doubling down. An isolated pipe problem is not indicative that the city has “brown water” and he knows that

I don’t see any way to interpret President Trump's "prediction" that "a whole civilization will die tonight" as other than a threat to order the military to commit crimes against civilians. If he issues such an order, it will be the duty of military leaders to refuse to comply.

Count me in for DJ Wagner to Memphis. Tigers can obviously offer him all the playing time he wants, it’s a place his family knows extremely well, and he presumably will eat in The American. Would be a nice start to the portal for Penny if it gets done.
