There definitely is a species of fandom that came of age watching the NBA in the 1980s and 90s and is convinced, often beyond all logic, that today’s players don’t compare.

Do not fail to read the post from President Trump this AM. There will be scores of books written about this war, even as there were in the aftermath of the Cuban Missile Crisis, Vietnam etc. This post by the President will figure prominently in the best of those books.

@RJ_uptown That part is true. What is not true is the part about Boe. Erving and his agent came to Boe and asked for an unspecified bonus. When Boe refused, citing the costs of the merger, Erving refused to report to training camp. If he hadn't done that, he would've still been a Net.

I realize that this is completely anecdotal, but one of my diehard Republicans relatives in Texas also told me this week that she’d not only not vote for Paxton but will vote Talarico if it comes to it.
