@JedL2b @amusingquarks @footballracing How do you use bots inplay if you don't mind me asking? I don't use anything but my hands and I'd like to learn more.

@amusingquarks @footballracing It’s never really been an area of focus for me but it’s great fun loading the sheets in & seeing what suggestions it makes. All a bit of fun for me at this stage while the live BOT’s churn away on the in play markets 👍🏻

Half term, so I’ve jumped on the AI bandwagon 😂 I dont trade pre race, all my BOTs are in play. But I’ve loaded the last 3 months results files from @footballracing into Claude, asking it to identify trends in prices from 15m out, based on odds ranges, tracks etc. Fascinating 👍🏻

So what about AI with horse racing? For the guys analyzing form and the ones building trading automation, there are lots of great things happening. But nothing useful yet for the classic point-and-click trader spotting a horse jumping badly? 😄

Want to see something F7ck3ed up? I asked A.I. to infation adjust average U.K. house prices since Jan 2007 to June 2025 and adjust for the GBP/USD rate. What you see in Jan 2007 and each subsequent month is the U.K. average house price in that month priced in June 2025 money converted to USD. This paints a bleak picture. It shows that since Jan 2007 the average U.K. house price in global USD terms adjusted for local inflation, has lost around 50% of its value in todays money. Since 2009 U.K. house prices adjusted for inflation and in Dollar terms are flat. In the last 18 years people in the U.K. thought they were being smart by buying property. They thought they were getting richer. They weren't. The average U.K. homeowner is no richer on a global basis than they were 16 years ago and around 50% poorer than 18 years ago. Just because your property goes up in value doesnt mean you are getting richer. It might feel nice at the time because the number goes up, but in the end it means nothing if on an inflation adjusted and dollar adjusted basis you dont get richer. This is one main reason why people in the U.K. are confused and can't figure out why they dont FEEL richer even though their house price has doubled or tripled in GBP value terms. Its the biggest "asset" and "investment" everyone makes, yet they feel no richer than before the 2008 GFC. This is why. The equity in their home has been meaningless for 18 years!

@AccaNinja Why don’t you just pick the horses like you are and record the results but not bet for the remainder of the month? You could see how it panned out then. If you’re not already going to do that of course.
