ARC Raiders doesn’t have a cheating problem, it’s mostly stream sniping Embark should bring the anti-stream sniping features from THE FINALS over to ARC Raiders It still shocks me they haven’t done it yet, they already have really solid options in TF.

@AttackRaidan @JakeSucky For sure, I don’t much care for ninja but I have noticed a direct correlation between streamers not playing arc raiders and my current queue times. It just seems a lot less people are playing now. I don’t think Ninja is even asking for much. Just ban the cheaters. IP ban

I get what you’re saying? But that’s rather subjective. You could make an argument the game could be bigger with a higher streamer giving it view time. But that’s irrelevant to my point, which is that these streamers playing it and dealing with cheaters stream sniping them is bad for business

@AttackRaidan @ARCRaidersNews Because Deep Rock Galactic is THAT iconic. And I can guarantee you, none of the big streamers like Ninja, Tim, Drdisrespect or any of these big wigs have played Deep Rock Galactic for a elongated period of time like they have played games like Arc, CoD etc.

@5623CieraRaciel @ARCRaidersNews I’m not advocating for non-cheaters to be banned. I’m saying if Embark wants to keep their game alive and well, ban the cheaters.

@AttackRaidan @ARCRaidersNews While I do agree with this, I am going to be flat out honest: Not all streamers are god tier players, and so many streamers are quick to call cheats when they get bested. Do you think it would be fair for someone who is playing legitimately to beat Ninja and get banned for it?

@C6Loma @JakeSucky I would agree if it was more of a “game mechanics” topic, but this is cheating. Universally panned by all gamers (except other cheaters). If you’ve got streamers advertising a cheater problem in your game, it’s gone hurt future sales.

@xoexecution @JakeSucky Yeah that first point is fair, as that’s a scenario this game was intended to generate at random NATURALLY depending on the lobby. These snipers/hackers have their thumb on the scale, thus providing an INACCURATE perspective of the game for both the streamer and the viewer.

@AttackRaidan @JakeSucky Personally I have the mindset of, if you're streaming a game where people can hunt you, that's on you. On the other hand getting sniped by hackers, yeah that is an issue that needs to be taken care of.

Yall can criticize him for whining and such, that’s your prerogative. However, from a business standpoint, as a company, you WANT big streamers playing your game and having fun. ANY cheating depicts your product negatively and is on full display with any large streamer.
