@xoaanya In the industrial revolution you needed people to use the machines, to build them, to fix them, to make the parts for them using other machines and so on. What is an accountant going to do if AI replaces him? No ones going to hire him to make the AI work.

Everyone says AI will replace most jobs. But if there are no jobs, there’s no income. No income means no spending. So how does the economy even function? What am I missing?

Seems like most everyone is missing the point. These "payroll jobs" numbers don't count self-employed people. A lot of men, especially Gen Z, are self-employed. The "stay at home boyfriend" is most likely making money online, just not on any company's payroll.

I hope speculation and rumors about yet another extension of the ceasefire to reach a deal with Iran are off base. To me, President Trump’s position is clear. I fear the Iranians will play the same old game they always play, dragging things out by doing things like making menial concessions. I believe the bottom line for President Trump is: - No enrichment - American control of the approximately 900 pounds of highly enriched uranium - The opening of the Strait of Hormuz without interference from Iran - Iran must abandon its long-range ballistic missile program and any effort to develop a nuclear weapon - And Iran must cease support for all terrorists proxies in the region This would allow Iran to exist as a nation but not as the largest state sponsor of terrorism. If there is no deal, it is time to finish the job.

You should be fantasizing about seizing power and wiping out your enemies who want the same for you and your family. And then you should convert those fantasies into a tangible political plan to make it happen.
