War-Chief Hegseth is EXACTLY what you get when you put blue-collar grunts in positions long held by elite, credentialist, INCOMPETENT white-collar dorks. Which is why I support him as fervently as I do.
Mark Naughton@MarkNaughton9

We saw what “Unqualified” Pete Hegseth has done with: Training, Standards, Recruiting, DEI and Trans Narco boats, Midnight Hammer and Maduro Colonels and Generals who do not support the President’s vision Now, it’s large scale traditional war… He’s doing incredible things

NEW: The rescued F-15 crew member said “God is Good” over his radio after ejecting from the aircraft over Iran, according to Axios. Here are remarkable new details about the rescue, according to Axios: - The rescued crew member is religious. - The crew member survived more than 24 hours in the mountains while wounded. - 200 soldiers from special operations units participated in the rescue. - The F-15 was shot down with a shoulder-fired missile. - “Thousands of these savages were hunting him down,” Trump said. - The officer hid in a crevice in the mountain and was found thanks to U.S. technology. - The officer said “God is good” after ejecting. - “The two crew members were spread apart by a couple miles. Hundreds of IRGC soldiers were everywhere,” a defense official said. “The C.I.A. initiated a deception campaign to try to confuse Iranian forces, and convince them the airman had already been rescued and was moving out of the country in a ground convoy,” the NYT reported. The airman reportedly evaded Iranian forces by hiking up a 7,000-foot ridgeline. “U.S. attack aircraft dropped bombs and opened fire on Iranian convoys to keep them away from the area where the airman was hiding,” the NYT continued. “In a final twist after the weapons officer was rescued, two transport planes that would carry the commandos and the airmen to safety got stuck at a remote base in Iran.” “Commanders decided to fly in three new planes to extract all the U.S. military personnel and the airman, and they blew up the two disabled planes rather than have them fall into Iranian hands.”

@joshiamitabhevo Why do people think a C-130 is just a cargo aircraft? If it can carry 60-70 troops, imagine all the other shit it can carry. We even made one variant an airborne pirate ship that lays down epic broadsides. No one copies our homework yet is always surprised.

Something about this F15 crew rescue doesn't add up. Why would one need C130s (carry 60-70 troops) for rescuing one or two aircrew and maybe a few troops whose helicopter got shot down during the rescue. It looks more like spl forces were in a temporary base with C130s etc. 1/3

American patriots would be hunting Chinese pilots the same way It’s an absurdity of modernity that your enemies have to be “evil” instead of just adversaries

The stupid, inbred regime really tried to push the "We know these mountains and lands, we will find and capture him" thing. Turns out going for a hike with flags and rifles didn't work and you couldn't find shit. What a shock.

@DD_Geopolitics Well, if that was a rescue operation I would assume that the 130s were tankers to extend the range of the helicopters. So why on earth, if everything goes according to plan, would you ever land them in the first place? Why even land anything there at all? It was a fuck up.

🇺🇸⚔️🇮🇷 According to geolocation data, the WSO of the downed F-15E was evacuated via a remote agricultural airstrip roughly 50 km south of Isfahan. He was initially located on Mount Siyah in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, reportedly hiding in a crevice. U.S. recovery personnel later described landing in open terrain south of Isfahan. The straight-line distance between those points is at least 231 km—closer to 428 km by road. That implies the WSO was moved a considerable distance—potentially by helicopter—to an extraction point still roughly 400 km from the Kuwaiti border. One plausible platform for this would be an MH-6M “Little Bird” operated by the 160th SOAR. If accurate, this suggests a sustained U.S. air operation deep inside Iranian territory—potentially up to 400 km from the border—over a period of roughly 36 hours. That would include search and recovery, establishing a landing zone, relocating the pilot, and executing the final extraction, reportedly without losses. Taken at face value, this reflects poorly on Iranian response capabilities. Resistance appears to have been limited to small-arms fire from local militias and Basij units, pointing to gaps not only in air defense coverage but also in coordination and access to systems like MANPADS. ☝️That said—tinfoil hat moment— Given that the Isfahan area hosts sensitive nuclear infrastructure long associated with uranium conversion and research, it’s worth asking whether the operation had secondary objectives beyond personnel recovery—or whether the CSAR mission itself was simply an unplanned component of a broader operation. And if the official account is accurate, it sets a troubling precedent for Iran: the U.S. appears capable of conducting extended operations deep inside Iran while openly signaling interest in securing its enriched uranium.

Rumor only, but rumor on the street is the pilot rescued Friday is one of the same pilots who was shot down by Kuwait a few weeks ago. If true, probably going to get an epic new callsign.

As an Iranian watching this rescue mission unfold, I was praying the American pilot would make it out alive, not just for him, but so the Islamic Republic could not use him as a bargaining chip or claim some twisted “victory.” At the same time, I felt a deep envy. Your government sent elite special forces, million-dollar aircraft, and moved heaven and earth to bring one American home. No hesitation. No excuses. In Iran, the regime uses human shields and recruited child soldiers to clear minefields during the Iran-Iraq war. They treat their own people like disposable tools. They are now recruiting child soldiers as we speak. The Islamic Republic has zero regard for human life. That’s the brutal difference. One side risks everything to save their own. The other sacrifices their own to stay in power. This hits hard when you have lived under both realities.

@JeffFisch We don't think in that math. We think in this math: What if that was me alone on that shithole mountain? There is a family that is in danger of losing a father, brother, husband, and son. To Americans, that math justifies the net loss in metal and rivets.

Now that both the pilot & WSO are confirmed safe... A lot of people, both the usual grifting slop accounts and journos who should know better, were complaining that CENTCOM hadn't confirmed the loss of the F-15E. It would be malpractice for them to do that while CSAR for the crew was ongoing. You don't give the enemy intel, even if it's something you think they already know. You don't make it easier for them. At first all the reports were of a single seat F-35. You don't tell the enemy actually it was a two seat F-15E and there's two crew, not one, that you should be looking for. The public is not owed minute by minute updates on sensitive rescue operations. Transparency is good but it can't come at the expense of operational security.
