When Nunez was at the club, every chance be missed, every post he hit, every offside he ran was judged up against the €75m he came in for. Hence the frustration from most of us and his eventual departure. His quality didn’t reflect the price tag! For me anyway. However if he comes back for free, it’s a totally different proposition. I can see how Iraola would find his attributes useful. His work off the ball, his pressing, his desire. Obviously still reservations about him infront of goal!😂 And I think the fanbase would be torn from the off. An element of regression in the deal which I understand. But circumstances change. If there was a fee on his head then absolutely no way. But at a time where we probably need upwards of 6 signings in summer, baring in mind Ekitikes absence, I don’t mind it. Just to add. It was the correct time for Nunez to leave when he did. If he comes back, whatever happens, it doesn’t change that! Drop your thoughts below.
