@Benchynedu @Morris_akon @Cantonadevils I am not referring to the forward players, obviously the convo was about midfield. If we can acquire high energy, high work rate players that can pass the ball and strong defensively we will be a force to reckon with.

£80m would be an AWFUL deal imo. West Ham have just been relegated and they need around £150m in sales to balance the books. They're the desperate ones here, not United. On top of that, the player WANTS to join United. If INEOS actually pay £80m under those circumstances, it would genuinely be one of the most incompetent decisions since they took charge of the club. Serious questions would have to be asked about the negotiating team. The only scenario where £80m makes sense is if there's a bidding war with a great club and United see him as a must sign player.
