Do you remember him? This is Zidane Iqbal, regarded as our own very Zinedine Zidane from carrington. Some said he was technically good and better than Kobbie Mainoo. Zidane Iqbal came out and spoke openly about his frustrations at United, saying he felt he wasn’t given enough respect or opportunity by then-manager Erik ten Hag before his exit, which influenced his decision to leave and seek more football elsewhere. Now he plays for an Eredivise (Netherlands) club called Utrecht which he now struggles to get game time. The entitlement mentality has killed most of our academy graduates, they don’t believe in fighting for their spot or earning it. They believe it has to be given to them cause they are academy graduates.

Isak Hansen-Aarøen was a technical good player but was hyped during his academy days in the U21 in Manchester United. He felt he deserves first team selection and left on permanent sale to Werder Bremen. Werder Bremen sent him on a season on loan at Aalborg BK (AaB) in the Danish Superliga to get first team playing time. When these kids let the hype get to their head, they begin to feel entitled to start in the first not knowing it isn’t by talent alone. It’s by hardwork and character and proving that you’re ready to earn your spot.

Bournemouth are going to make sure the game becomes a game of basketball; end to end and chaotic. Also Bournemouth has a win percentage of 40%, draw 45% and loss 15%, so this game won’t be a walk in the park. Bournemouth playing at home, give them that boost to take the game to United. If Michael Carrick fails to make the team structurally compact defensively, we will suffer a lot to Bournemouth midfielders and pace.

@OmosoloDZG Others have their own responsibility but if Mainoo doesn’t slow the game down, retain/recycle possession and play into the hands of Bournemouth chaotic football. He will be smoked and the team will suffer. The parts affects the whole, his role is very important tomorrow.

Tomorrow win against Bournemouth, is dependent on Kobbie Mainoo and Casemiro and a huge test on Kobbie Mainoo, pace, composure and intensity. It will be a game of midfield battle. A battle between Kobbie Mainoo and Casemiro keeping the game slow, composed and calm and Bournemouth midfield of Alex Scott and Lewis cook making the game chaotic , fast, aggressive and mobile. Alex Scott, Lewis cook or Ryan Christie are going to make life difficult for Casemiro legs and also fast paced for Kobbie Mainoo, with their quick transition of the ball. Only staying compact and and Bruno dropping back to maintain the defensive shape and structure can save us.

This was bound to happen, Amorim didn’t trust him, Michael Carrick doesn’t trust him. He has being dropped to accommodate Kobbie Mainoo, the fans don’t like him, he is always blamed when we lose and it isn’t his fault, less game time, World Cup year. It’s best he …..𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲

🚨 NEW: Manuel Ugarte is unhappy at Manchester United with his current gametime and feels he’s not valued. It’s becoming increasingly likely that he will leave in the summer if the right offer comes in. #MUFC [@SullyTalkz, @centredevils]

After signing Either Bruno Guimaraes, Sandro Tonali, Elliot Anderson, Carlos Baleba, Matheus Fernandes, etc. Does Kobbie Mainoo keeps his place? Will the fans back Kobbie Mainoo over the manager/ Head coach if Kobbie Mainoo gets benched? Does Kobbie Mainoo accept that he is a bench player? Does Kobbie Mainoo fall in the pecking order? What will be Kobbie Mainoo fate next season.

Ugarte progresses the ball more than Kobbie Mainoo and Kobbie and Ugarte pairing can’t work without Casemiro. Ugarte is not even a bad player, is just that Manchester United fans don’t like him and amplify him losing balls, and blame him for conceding goals that has nothing to do with him (most of the times). Amorim didn’t trust Ugarte and Carrick doesn’t too. One game Ugarte played 90mins with Casemiro was Newcastle at old trafford, we won the match cause of his aggression, ball winning and yes ball progression of the ball. A coach who trust Ugarte will get the best out of him. Back to Baleba, go and watch AFCON and you’ll understand what I’m saying. 2025 season. 2026 season Kobbie vs Kobbie vs Ugarte. Ugarte.

And out of the 4 years with Casemiro, we only got two good years out of him and on a high wage bill. The FA cup year and this year Casemiro is going out with a bang and that’s all. Players like Bruno will demand high wage bill and will only offer 2 good years, if he isn’t bedridden by injuries. One season wonder was said about Caceido until he came good for Chelsea under Maresca. I watched Carlos Baleba in the AFCON and he is a total different baller, was dictating play from the 6 position, picking the balls from the defenders and progressing & winning the balls. Baleba has much more to offer than Bruno G, who will use us as retirement plan.
Noush 🧠 | MUFC@NoushardMUFC

My brother, we agree on a lot, but not on this one. Here’s why. Carlos Baleba is moving like a one-season spark right now. Since the United links, his momentum has dipped and there are real questions about how he handles pressure at the very top level. It’s giving shades of a player who can look good in moments but fade when the spotlight gets heavy. Bruno Guimarães, on the other hand, is elite in this role. One of the best traditional 6s available right now. Age 28 is not a problem, especially when you look at Casemiro still holding it down at 33 going on 34. This is prime years, not decline. And let’s talk consistency. Bruno has done it season after season in the Premier League. Regardless of how Newcastle perform, his level never drops. He dictates games, controls tempo, wins duels, and shows up when it matters. We say we want young players, and that’s fair. But you don’t build a winning midfield on potential alone. You need leaders. You need fighters. You need players who can walk into chaos and impose order. That’s Bruno Guimarães. Not a project. Not a maybe. A guarantee.

Watch him capsized like how Ruud Van Nisteroy did at Leicester city. Ruud had a good spell as our interim manager but failed as permanent coach at Leicester City. There’s a big difference between interim manager and permanent manager. Interim manager just focuses on the on field results only and short term plan but permanent manager has to be involved in the on field and off field actions of players and have a broad and long term plan.
SportsDeeva@Blesing_Andrew

🔴 URGENT | If Manchester United don’t back interim boss Michael Carrick long-term, other Premier League rivals are circling. Clubs like Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, and Fulham have been linked with interest, according to February 2026 reports from Football Insider 247.

Bruno Guimares is 28yrs old and a Defensive Midfielder, for a player that age I won’t recommend United sign him. It’s best we sign Carlos Baleba who will offer us more in the 6 position than Bruno Guimares. Bruno G, has 2 years max to offer and with his injury crisis isn’t a good buy. Signing just like Arsenal did by getting a hybrid midfielder In Declan rice who can play both CM & DM and getting a specialist DM zubimendi, is what Manchester United should also do. Get Elliot Anderson a hybrid and Baleba a specialist for our midfield will take us up the notch or on another level.
