Do you remember him? This is Zidane Iqbal, regarded as our own very Zinedine Zidane from carrington. Some said he was technically good and better than Kobbie Mainoo. Zidane Iqbal came out and spoke openly about his frustrations at United, saying he felt he wasn’t given enough respect or opportunity by then-manager Erik ten Hag before his exit, which influenced his decision to leave and seek more football elsewhere. Now he plays for an Eredivise (Netherlands) club called Utrecht which he now struggles to get game time. The entitlement mentality has killed most of our academy graduates, they don’t believe in fighting for their spot or earning it. They believe it has to be given to them cause they are academy graduates.

Isak Hansen-Aarøen was a technical good player but was hyped during his academy days in the U21 in Manchester United. He felt he deserves first team selection and left on permanent sale to Werder Bremen. Werder Bremen sent him on a season on loan at Aalborg BK (AaB) in the Danish Superliga to get first team playing time. When these kids let the hype get to their head, they begin to feel entitled to start in the first not knowing it isn’t by talent alone. It’s by hardwork and character and proving that you’re ready to earn your spot.

Eddie Howe leaving Newcastle doesn’t have anything on Lewis Hall because even before Howe left, the uncertainties around Lewis Hall’s future had been there. Ben Jacobs said Lewis Hall would seek Clarity on his role under Newcastle new coach, Matthias Jaissle, everything depends on Jaissle now and whether he favors Hall or not. Notwithstanding this, I still don’t believe INEOS would pull this off. Newcastle would not sell a 26 year Tonali and a 28 year old Bruno G for £100m and £70m respectively and let a 21 year old Hall, who has no release clause, go for cheaper. And when the price is prone to inflation, INEOS are pulling out with speed - that I know. The deal is feasible but difficult.

Do I want Lewis Hall at Manchester United?? A big Yes. Do I think INEOS would land him?? No. INEOS are not serious negotiators and I’m not counting on them on this deal because; - Lewis Hall has no release clause and Newcastle can name any price on him. We all know INEOS are scared of big prices. - INEOS would want him to profess his undying love and willingness for Manchester United before they will make a move. - INEOS are delay merchants and the moment competition sets in, they are out. Lewis Hall is the perfect Luke Shaw replacement but being realistic, I don’t see INEOS pulling this off.

This is how Manchester United will be pulling up to premier league and champions league next season; Mainoo + Santos + Bruno Fernandes or Mainoo + Tielemans + Bruno Fernandes. Santos, Mount and Tielemans will have to compete for starting spot cause Carrick won’t bench Bruno or Mainoo.

Tynan Thompson signing is just like Amad diallo and Facundo Pellistre. Tynan Thompson might take 4/5 years to develop and be useful like Amad or might be sold off early like pellistre. Tynan Thompson is a potential buy and what Carrick needs isn’t potential buy but killers in their position that will help him compete and win the league or trophies.

Even though it’s preseason, how the players and Carrick perform against Atletico Madrid and PSG will tell if we are ready to compete in the champions league or we are going to mark attendance in the competition. Even though it’s preseason, they should play with ambition and passion cause that’s what we want to see and not going there to get battered.

🚨 UNPOPULAR OPINION: Marcus Rashford's time at Manchester United is over and keeping him around because he's an academy graduate is pure nostalgia. – He's the highest-paid player at the club. – The hunger no longer looks the same. – The relationship feels broken. One 30-goal season doesn't earn a lifetime contract worth £325k a week. If United are serious about building a new culture under Carrick, sentiment can't outweigh standards. Sell him this summer. Clear the wages. Give the left wing to someone who's hungry to fight for the badge every single week. Some stories deserve a clean ending. This is one of them.

@Cantonadevils What if he's angry with his own performance in the game?

Is Mbeumo attitude passion or something to worry about. Mbeumo doesn’t like being subbed off especially when he doesn’t score in a match/game. He is seen getting angry while walking off or putting an attitude with the coach, even in preseason he has displayed such attitude too. This attitude might be a problem.

@IamfredieH Adam Wharton is a DM (Rodri type of DM) he isn’t the slide tackling type, he reads and win possession by cutting passing lanes and anticipation to stop attacks. He isn’t the Baleba or Casemiro type who would slide tackle at every moment.

Why is no one going for Adam Wharton, Manchester United can really use a guy like him with his qualities at Manchester United. Adam Wharton was pivotal in Crystal Palace winning the FA cup and Conference League. A DM that reads the game properly, dictates tempo, line breaking passing and would help prevent our game in being an end to end basketball match. I won’t mind if he is our 3rd midfielder signing.

Aurelien Tchouameni, is the only third midfielder option that looks likely to happen or be signed by INEOS. But it might only be possible if Rodri signs for Real Madrid and if Mourinho is willing to let Tchouameni go. If not Carrick will have to make do with Andres Santos and Tielemans.

Palace’s valuation is the biggest barrier. Reports put their demands near or above £100m–£116m. United under INEOS have shown willingness to walk away from those numbers, especially with other midfield targets on the table and a finite budget. Clubs also know Wharton is under contract and in no rush after a trophy-laden season.
