De afgelopen week heb ik 8 vluchten geboekt voor mezelf en mijn partner in Azië en Europa. Dit is mijn ervaring bij het boeken van vliegtickets momenteel: - Vluchten vanuit Azië naar Europa zijn nog steeds goedkoop als je vanuit China vliegt. In juni vlieg ik voor 259 euro vanuit Bangkok naar Brussel. 17 uur onderweg met korte tussenstop in China. Daarna nachtvlucht zodat je om 7 uur in de ochtend aankomt in Brussel en je de dag kunt beginnen. Goede vlucht en nog zeer betaalbaar. Zeker om 11000 km te vliegen. Hier zit 20kg bagage bij inbegrepen voor de twee vluchten. - Er zijn online nog steeds zeer veel mogelijkheden open om via het Midden-Oosten te vliegen wat een probleem is. Je kan immers niet makkelijk deze vluchten eruit filteren als je opzoekwerk doet via de sites die ik gebruik (skyscanner, Kayak, Google Flights...). Daar moet je nu even meer leven. Persoonlijk zou ik nu geen tussenstop in Abu Dhabi of Dubai willen maken. - De prijzen zijn de afgelopen twee weken fors gestegen, maar niet op alle vluchten. Vliegen naar Europa via het Midden-Oosten kan vaak nog tegen dezelfde prijs als drie weken geleden. In het Midden-Oosten heeft men de prijzen nog niet opgetrokken is mijn persoonlijke ervaring (Oman Air). Al zou ik het niet riskeren. - Goedkoop naar Azië vliegen is plots zeer moeilijk. De goedkope vluchten gaan via het Midden-Oosten. Wil je die route ontwijken? Tel dan 50% extra bij de prijs. Mijn vlucht naar Azië voor oktober heb ik om die reden nog niet geboekt. Of je moet via China gaan en vluchten accepteren van 29 uur in totaal. - Er zijn nog veel goedkope vliegtickets te vinden bij de budgetmaatschappijen. Ik vlieg midden juni van Eindhoven naar Sofia voor 29 euro. Vandaag geboekt. Ook vlieg ik van Manila naar Chiang Mai (twee vluchten) voor 85 euro. En dat is dan met extra handbagage die ik heb gekocht. Anders was het 70 euro geweest. - De tips die ik gebruik blijven geldig. Gebruik alternatieve luchthavens (Eindhoven of Charleroi vs Brussel), wees flexibel, gebruik incognito modus bij het boeken en gebruik ook VPN's. Soms krijg je dan andere platformaanbieders of promoties te zien in een bepaalde regio. Vandaag vooral geboekt via VPN in Hong Kong en kon daardoor toch enkele procenten goedkoper kopen. Ik moet enkel nog mijn vlucht vanuit Europa naar Azië terugboeken voor eind september. Die prijzen vallen tegen en liggen bijna dubbel zo hoog als van Azië naar Europa te vliegen. Maar dat zien we later wel. Als jullie vragen hebben bij het boeken van tickets, shoot! Blijft mijn favoriete bezigheid. Toch al makkelijk 150 à 200 vluchten gedaan afgelopen 5 jaar. Help met plezier.

Treated mice also displayed markedly fewer visible signs of aging, including reduced fur loss and graying. This research marks the first direct demonstration that psilocybin/psilocin can influence biological aging itself, rather than solely producing psychological effects. The authors emphasize that the study used relatively conservative dosing and are now advocating for follow-up work with higher or more frequent administration, detailed assessments of immune, metabolic, and cognitive function, and investigations into whether the extended lifespan corresponds to genuine improvements in healthspan and quality of life.
