However, YouTube only pushes each new video to about only 10-20 people. We don’t have money to invest in better production quality because we’re not earning anything from YouTube yet. We’ve managed to reach around 1,000 subscribers, but our visibility is extremely low, which makes hitting the 4,000 watch hours requirement feel nearly impossible. Youtube isn't helping at all,

For the thumbnail, you spend 1 or 2 days creating 10 to 20 designs until you find the one you like. Finally, you upload the video to your channel with zero subscribers. On the first day, you get only 5 to 10 views. After 20 days, you might reach 100 to 200 views. If YouTube's algorithm likes your content, it starts boosting it slowly. You meet all the monetization requirements at least 2 months after publishing. You apply for monetization, wait 7 to 10 days for review, and when it's approved, you feel extremely happy — all of it organic. Then, when your first video earns you $400 to $500, YouTube suddenly demonetizes your channel, claiming it's "inauthentic content." This is the ugly face of YouTube. They never clearly explain during review. They just waste months of your hard work and time when you have high hopes and believe your content follows all their rules.
