The DOJ is asking to see actual ballots in Wayne County.
Not reports. Not summaries.
The real votes.
And people like @dananessel and @JocelynBenson are freaking out about it.
But I have a serious question…
Why is transparency a problem?
Wayne County is the biggest county in Michigan. If you’re going to verify anything, that’s exactly where you’d start.
We audit EVERYTHING in this country—banks, businesses, even our taxes.
But when it comes to elections, suddenly it’s:
“Don’t look. Just trust us.”
That doesn’t sit right.
If everything is clean, then showing the ballots shouldn’t be controversial.
It should be easy.
Michigan voters deserve more than “just trust us.”
We deserve proof. Transparency and accountability aren’t extreme. They’re necessary.

El-Sayed claimed he didn’t vote in the 2016 primary because voting lines were too long in Detroit, but he wasn’t registered to vote.

Deceptive and excessively confusing marketing like this should be illegal
Bounty paper towels make multiple different sizes that are all so similar, it’s extremely easy to get confused into buying one that’s likely not the better deal
It should just be sold in standard equal measurements, like by foot

Water levels are now within 5.76 inches of overtopping, and the area has moved to Level 2 “set” stage.
Officials say there is a high probability of evacuation, so if you’re nearby, start preparing now.

The drawbridge is up and not an option. Do not go near the dam or around barricades.
