Tonight, the Kentucky Congressional Delegation led our colleagues in a moment of silence to honor the lives of Staff Sergeant Benjamin Pennington and Technical Sergeant Ashley Pruitt, who were killed during Operation Epic Fury. We will never forget these two American heroes.

@CMPiagentini With respect, the timeline, statutory constraints, and expense for construction or expansion of a school is far greater than that of apartments and is therefore subject to years- or even decades-long strategic planning.

This makes sense. The development will not begin until the road improvements start. This should be the model moving forward. Infrastructure should go along with development, not lag 10-20 years behind.

@SarahColeMcInt1 I guarantee if JCPS calls Metro Planning and Design and asked where they see development coming in the next 10 years, Metro would be glad to share.

@SarahColeMcInt1 All development meetings are public and the Mayor’s office shares info with JCPS. If they aren’t planning that isn’t the cities fault.

@CMPiagentini Unfortunately, JCPS has historically not been brought into these long-term planning discussions yet must resolve (and usually catch blame for), these kinds of community challenges.

Judge Annie O’Connell granted a man dealing in child porn shock probation. What did he do…he RAPED A 4 YEAR OLD CHILD!!! Why in the hell would anyone give a Pedo shock probation? This judges decision resulted in the RAPE OF A 4 YEAR OLD!! Going to examine this judge also!

@wil_da_beast630 @kissthecann0n There is no place that is heaven. That is a very human construct. Think about it more like a level of being that is incoming with God. God is not in a place. He is a star of being.

But, none of you can ANSWER these questions. That's the point. Where IS Heaven, to ask another "should be the simplest thing imaginable" question? The next time you talk to God or an angel, ask Her to rapidly give you the answer to (345,813 x 59,411) so that you can go forth with perfected faith and convert more souls. I find, from a very large-N test, that this does not occur. There are responses to these sort of obvious points - or the showing of a nature documentary, recital if actual human history, etc. "GOD is not a GENIE!" I personally find all this utterly unconvincing. But, by all means, follow the best path for YOU!

There are a lot of very PRACTICAL problems with religion. For my Buddhists and very trad Christians: the global population has increased from 50M to 8B over just a few years. Where are all these new "souls"......coming from?

Kevin is without exception one of the most ethical and decent men I have ever known. He doesn’t compromise his principles but he does so with charity to all. A truly great man and I am honored to call him my friend and colleague.

@CMPiagentini The city should have an "unveiling" ceremony. I steer away from downtown, but this would get me there for a visit.

So glad to see this finalized. Next step is where we will place this. The city is coming back and repairing our public art is a part of that comeback.
