This may offend some of you, but I mostly dislike overtly Christian entertainment. I find most of it a betrayal of both art and witness. Instead, I'd love to see a return of movies like Project Hail Mary that are quietly, subtly Christian. So subtle that you sometimes don't even realize you're being witnessed to. As an atheist kid growing up in a secular country, the only theology I got was from Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings. Star Wars introduced me to a tangible sort of spirituality (oh, how my heart ached for it) while The Lord of the Rings subtly poured the very soul of Christianity into my heart so that when I finally encountered the gospels it already felt familiar to me. There is great value in this kind of entertainment. It's almost paradoxical, but putting storytelling and art first produces a far more powerful Christian witness than putting the messaging front and center. (This is why so most "woke" entertainment fails.) Check out my article below if you wanna read my review of Project Hail Mary and how it's a Christian movie. open.substack.com/pub/sarahsalvi…

Bill Gates: “Cows make 6% of global emissions.” “You can either fix the cows, or make beef without the cow.” So it's not about farming, not about land use, but redesigning nature itself.
