@CatholicAndre @MrCasey62 It has no effect, but that doesn't mean you can discard the command or change it to your wishes.
English

@Takeyerswing Just because your name is Sue doesn’t mean you have to wear a bra
English

@Mattman34 However no one has ever debated whether the tagger, once making a tag, remains “it”.
Pretty fun technicality to exploit on the grade school playground.
English

@josephnollasj He fashions himself as a masculine man, but is not looking at the scandals that have plagued him throughout his ministry.
Real masculine men behave with kindness, strength through virtue, self-sacrificial like Christ. Practicing the vows of priesthood can produce virtuous men.
English

@HAlhakeem_ @Catholic_bro @oliverburdick This same rationale could be used to promote the prosperity gospel.
We can make up stuff all we want, but believe it at our own peril. The only thing that is surely true is what God has revealed.
English

@CatholicAndre @Catholic_bro @oliverburdick Our talk is not based on our own thoughts, but on what the Bible has revealed to us. It provides many examples/cases from which we can draw answers, provided that they do not contradict the Scriptures or the commandments of the Lord.
English

@HAlhakeem_ @Catholic_bro @oliverburdick What I think has no bearing on what God will or will not do for any particular individual or class of people.
English

@CatholicAndre @Catholic_bro @oliverburdick Jesus Christ blessed infants and accepted the thief without baptism to enter paradise, so do you think He would reject the unborn??

English

@CatholicAndre @KBCC2422 @Catholic_bro @Michael1912510 @oliverburdick Not a bot. In fact, I hate bots and all things that resemble them (especially so-called “AI”). You’ve just demonstrated that you don’t understand or believe the Bible, though, so that’s not good.
English

@KJVGospel @KBCC2422 @Catholic_bro @Michael1912510 @oliverburdick Hello bot, universalism is ridiculous, have a nice day.
English

@CatholicAndre @KBCC2422 @Catholic_bro @Michael1912510 @oliverburdick It’s impossible to join the true body of Christ unless one is a Biblical Universalist, and anyone who isn’t a Universalist has shown that they don’t understand the Bible and that their doctrines can’t be trusted, as proven from Scripture in this free book: universalism.ca

English

@HAlhakeem_ @Catholic_bro @oliverburdick Listen, I agree with you, but we cannot get to heaven simply by not sinning. That is a condemned heresy called Pelagianism.
The only way we know is through Jesus and the provisions He has revealed; nothing is revealed for the unborn. May God have mercy on the unbaptized babies.
English

@CatholicAndre @Catholic_bro @oliverburdick No, it’s called “she ends his life, not saves it” The baby will go to heaven bcs he bears no fault that his mom is a murderer & decided to take his life. Abortion is a sin; u can’t justify it, Death & life are only in the hands of God, & Jesus Christ is his Savior, not the mom
English

@AnimeAugsburg According to religion she is:
Loved more than she can comprehend
Specially created for a purpose greater than anything naturally possible
Imbued with qualities higher than any other natural being
Someone who Jesus decided was worth dying for

How does one go about scientifically proving someone is “full of wonder”???

@CraigOnan @Roark___ @Catholic_bro Limbo is a theological speculation and has not been revealed. That is why it is not a doctrine of the church. Limbo is not a certainty.
English

Always fun to see Catholics arguing why babies can’t go to heaven.
That Catholic Guy 🇻🇦@Catholic_bro
@oliverburdick So a person can enter heaven without any personal faith in Christ or baptism? what makes that consistent with the Gospel call to believe and be baptized?
English

@CraigOnan @Roark___ @Catholic_bro We are completely unable to know things that are beyond our nature. Such as anything about salvation, heaven, hell, etc. God had to reveal them.
We can know about God through what he has made also. Rom. 1:19-20. Those things are natural revelation, not above our nature.
English

@Roark___ @Catholic_bro We can’t be certain innocent babies don’t go to hell, but we can definitely be certain about non-biblical concepts of natural law.
English

@HAlhakeem_ @Catholic_bro @oliverburdick But you say babies who are killed go straight to heaven. So if a woman has 20 abortions, logically, according to this belief, she would be saving 20 souls.
We know that God is just and merciful, and we hope that babies are saved, but we cannot know with certainty.
English

@CatholicAndre @Catholic_bro @oliverburdick No, Abortion ends lives and brings condemnation upon those who commit it.
English

@JohnPalumb66174 @MrCasey62 Let’s face it, none of the reasons on this list are why you left. Desire to sin freely is why you left. It’s clear from your timeline.
This list is a convenient scapegoat, as was the church changing the rules about fasting on Friday.
English

@CatholicAndre @MrCasey62 Only 1 infallible and his name is Jesus Christ. no man made Church or denominations. Just the Body of Christ.
English

@JohnPalumb66174 @MrCasey62 2. The laity are able to interpret the Bible on their own. Even encouraged to do so. The church’s teachings, its doctrines and dogmas and the clergy provide a sure resource when we go off the rails.
This is a sign of the true church, that it would worship in spirit and truth.
