@quasimatt I hope out of towners don’t believe this. Native New Yorker here I promise you no one gives a F. And I look at the sandwich menu sometimes you find a really great one you wouldn’t have thought of. No real New Yorker cares trust me!

As a native New Yorker it really irks me to see people going into the deli and looking at the menu. It's a quick way to out yourself as a transplant. Real New Yorkers just know what ingerdients delis have and order something without looking at the menu.

So I once knew a woman who worked at a grocery store 3-4 hours A WEEK. I asked if it was even worth the drive and she said she got 50% off groceries so yes it was worth it. Mind you, she was retired. Maybe genius?

@jacobs_cda @be_homestead You’d be wrong. Estée Lauder has a company store with all of their brands including Le Mer and employees get hundreds free each quarter and “might as well be free” when they go over.
