After the massive apocalypse event in the game's history, Seraphs began appearing in the world for an unknown reason (without spoiling any lore). They are very odd (and scary) compared to a regular person.

@illwilledomen I barely know anything about VS someone please explain why the villager is afraid of the player who is apparently a unique race separate from humans.

@Shados9611 @kuntimora Plus, if he's long dead by this point considering how old Olivia looks, it wouldn't make sense for him to still be the face of the company alongside Gwen unless he is still 'alive' in some sense, similar to how there's now an AI-generated Walt Disney hologram used in real life.

@Shados9611 @kuntimora I feel like he might still exist as a form of AI-copy of himself. In the commercial where he introduces all the Gwens, he has this blue aura around him that is identical to the hallucinations Frankie has of the animal dolls speaking. That and the giant sun knight has his voice.

I feel like since Olivia’s father was aware of the blue lung + diseases that people were getting as a result of the fumes he was creating, he locked Olivia up and didn’t let her see other humans in fear that they would infect her too so she’s gone partially insane with isolation

@MyUntoldDiary I'm a photography student at university rn, we had multiple classes on using AI generation sites and stuff like Adobe's new built-in AI tools. I just sat through them without touching the computer. Also had to design a book cover using AI, luckily I was ill for that one. awful

@Madmechanic911 @RubixRaptor I got the same idea and now make it a point to drop every spare weapon, resupply or emplacement I have on cooldown for the troops we leave behind. Really hoping the SEAF get an update after Super-Earth that lets them use the weapons we find their bodies next to on other planets.

@RubixRaptor I like to imagine the weapons (like RR and auto cannons) left behind, are picked up and used by SEAF to make their last stand.

I think of this literally every time I'm extracting from Super Earth

@HaitchistHe @deadlybunz_ @AJEnglish Grenade launchers like that are used frequently as part of riot/protest control using 'non-lethal' rounds like tear gas canisters, rubber bullets, etc. Despite the name, they are still lethal/dangerous at close ranges or direct hits. Nothing weird about that soldier having one.
